As MGM struggles against the seemingly unstoppable march of either bankruptcy or a buyout by Sony, movie studios are doing their best to get us back to the theaters and their No.1 hope is that we are all going to buy into the 3D thing (again). For those of us old enough to remember, there was a period of dabbling in 3D back in the 80's with the green and red lenses on the glasses and, in fact, 3D film or stereoscopic film, goes way back to the 1950's and in the roots go back further than that.

The Right Tool for the Right Job…

We see a variety when it comes to machines requiring repairs of one type
or another and the one question that comes up more often than not is
'"is it worth fixing?". This may seem like a simple question. Is the
money I would spend repairing this computer being spent wisely or should
it go towards a new machine......?
I am always reluctant to answer, here's why: a computer is a tool that
allows you to do a wide variety of tasks and some very cool stuff. Some
machines run certain programs better than others, this is because

Top 5 Ridiculous Warranty Expectations

It's rewarding when you represent a manufacturer that applies it's
warranty rules in conjunction with a certain amount of common sense to
arrive at decisions which affects the customer. Since Dat-A-Syst
represents several manufacturers in their warranty service, I will not
name this particular company. But when you see repairs that would
normally be rejected by a standard warranty being covered and with the
greatest of consideration for the customer, it does leave you with a
warm and fuzzy feeling that you are able to make someone's day by
repairing their machine under warranty with no hassle from the
manufacturer and at no cost to the customer.
