Terms of Service
  1. Non Warranty Repairs. All non warranty repairs are billed at a rate of $47.50 per half hour. Our minimum charge is $47.50 which will be collected once your machine has been received.This non refundable deposit is applied to, but may not fully cover, any work carried out on your computer.

    PRIORITY SERVICE (expediting) is available with two options. Expediting costs $45 and allows your equipment to be next in line for service. Double expediting costs $90, and allows your equipment to move directly to a technician, surpassing the line altogether. Expediting will not enhance the performance of technicians or the arrival of replacement parts. The fee for expediting will be due before service is provided. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE, even if the product is unrepairable or service is declined for any reason.

    MANUFACTURER WARRANTY CLAIM: Any repair/service made or performed that is not covered under warranty, including a diagnosis of "no problem found" becomes the responsibility of the customer and is billed at our current service rate. If a liquid spill or any physical damage is found this will automatically "Void the Manufacturer's Warranty" and will become billable. (This also includes software issues, spyware and viruses).

    DATA: IF THE RESTORE DISK IS USED, ALL DATA WILL BE LOST AS THE UNIT WILL BE RETURNED AS IS FROM THE MANUFACTURER. DAT-A-SYST WILL BACK UP DATA ONLY AT THE CUSTOMER'S REQUEST. Back-ups can take from 30 minutes to 1 ½ hours depending on what is required by the customer. The "ATTEMPT" to recover data is billable at $55 per half-hour with a minimum of half an hour. This charge applies whether the "ATTEMPT" is successful or not. I, THE CUSTOMER, AGREE THAT WHETHER OR NOT I REQUEST DAT-A-SYST TO BACK UP MY DATA, IN NO EVENT SHALL DAT-A-SYST BE LIABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR ANY LOSS, ALTERATION OR CORRUPTION OF ANY DATA OR LOSS OF ANY MEDIA FROM MY PRODUCT.

    UNCLAIMED EQUIPMENT: Dat-A-Syst accepts no responsibility for any equipment not picked up within 30 days of completed service. Dat-A-Syst will make every effort to contact the customer on the day of completion. I agree that Dat-A-Syst may dispose of my equipment after 30 days of completion and hereby release Dat-A-Syst and waive any claims regarding such disposal.

    DAT-A-SYST WARRANTY: At no additional charge, Dat-A-Syst will correct any hardware defects in workmanship of the repair services provided they are returned to Dat-A-Syst within thirty (30) days from the date of pickup. This provision will not apply to virus/spyware removal or software repairs.

    I understand I must report any physical damage to my equipment at the time of pickup or I waive any claims I may have related to such physical damage.

    PAYMENT: Full payment is expected at the time of pickup. Dat-A-Syst accepts Visa, MasterCard and Debit Cards. Checks in the amount of $200.00 or less will be accepted with proper identification.

    CONSUMABLES: Dat-A-Syst requires an operational consumable (ribbon, ink/toner cartridge to be in the printer/plotter so as to test the unit after service. If unit has no consumable or the consumable is inadequate or damaged, Dat-A-Syst will install an OEM approved consumable and the customer will be responsible for payment at our standard retail rate.
